The XV Latin American Congress of Peace Research, "Where there are roots there are wings. CLAIP: 50 years of memory and hope", will be held from April 19 to 23, 2027 in face-to-face mode, in the city of Rosario, Argentina.

The event is organized by the Latin American Council for Peace Research (CLAIP) in collaboration with La Universidad del Centro Educativo Latinoamericano, (UCEL) the and the Latin American Foundation for Restorative Justice Objective 16.

This Congress is convened in conjunction with different allies who share the criteria of collective work, academic rigor and commitment to the promotion of coexistence and diversity as fundamental human values. These are the Revista Latinoamericana Estudios de la Paz y el Conflicto (ReLaPaC), the Peace Area of the University Institute in Democracy, Peace and Security of the National Autonomous University of Honduras (IUDPAS-UNAH), the Peace and Justice Service (SERPAJ) of Mexico; in addition to the support of the International Peace Research Association (IPRA). In addition, the Congress will be sponsored by a network of different institutions that nurture peacebuilding processes from different perspectives and geographies, and that share the spirit and horizons that guide our work.
